Week of 22 October:
After receiving feedback from students, parents and through my observations of student organization, I will be asking students to start using the composition notebook that was listed on the original supply list. We are starting Unit 2 this week and all notes from this point forward should be in the notebook.
Unit 2 will focus on Pangaea, migration and the earliest people.
Also beginning this week, students will be bringing home the 50 States worksheets. You should expect to see a worksheet on Tuesdays that will be due on Fridays and they will receive one on Fridays that will be due on Tuesdays. I will assign the state to be completed. A worksheet template is provided under the Home tab in the 50 States section.
Information about the DC trip was sent home Tuesday with students. Please review and make sure you check the deadline for the deposit and green form to be returned (Friday, Nov 02, 2018). We cannot guarantee being able to add participants after that date.

Greetings! I hope you all have weathered Florence with little to no damage. Due to the lost school days, students should expect their SS quiz on the Five Themes of Geography when they return.
Please see the Geography tab for slides and notes of upcoming lessons, as well as a project rubric, study guide and homework assignments. I will be scanning worksheets that can be printed at home, for your convenience.
Please reach out through Class Dojo or via email if you have questions or concerns.
